At the time that this presentation was given, some of the original concepts of Information Warfare (IW) were still in their formative stages. This presentation discussed diffeent perspectives for Information Warfare, including the military context, the information technology context, Defense Department doctrine as it existed at that time, and the experience from Desert Storm. It discusses the Command and Control Warfare (C2W) as the military component of Information Warfare. It also discuses a commercial perspective with business examples.
